Christopher Larry Cheeley BBVOA President

A man and a woman standing close together and smiling at the camera. The man has short, reddish-blonde hair and is wearing a light blue, short-sleeved button-down shirt. The woman has wavy, shoulder-length brown hair and is wearing a turquoise v-neck top with a blue and green floral pattern. They are indoors, standing in front of a textured, reddish-brown marble wall.

Chris Cheeley currently serves as the President of the Black Bay Village Owners Association, despite having never been a resident of our community. As the developer of the neighborhood's final 24 homes, Cheeley retained ownership of 12 properties to operate as rentals. This disproportionate voting block has allowed him to seize control of the HOA board to serve his own financial interests rather than the neighborhood's. His tenure has been defined by a glaring lack of transparency; he refuses to provide an email address or phone number to the members he supposedly represents.
